Victoria Harbour, Ontario, sits on the southern shore of Georgian Bay in what is commonly referred to as “cottage country.”
Last summer we spent a week at a lovely bed and breakfast in the area and enjoyed some much needed down time.
When I snapped this image I was perched on a boulder in what became my favourite observation point in the early mornings or late afternoons of a clear day.
This particular sunset, with its fiery palette casting streaks of cloudy flame across a dimming evening sky reflected in rippling fire water, was a moment in sacred space apt to take my breath away.
