In stark contrast to yesterday’s black and white offering is this image of fallen pink begonias (? because I am not a flower expert, sadly … ).
The gardens at Lismore Castle in County Waterford sport many varieties of exotic shrubs and flowers and offer a lovely meditative diversion when travelling.
Though these flowers had fallen to the ground and were dying, I was struck by their beauty laid out as a carpet of pink beneath a sea of forest green.
Beauty doesn’t have to fade, it simply changes.
