It’s the Victoria Day weekend … the first long-weekend of the summer season in Ontario. City folk, eager to soothe their troubled souls with a change of scenery, are flocking to the pristine shores of Ontario’s many lakes in cottage country. It’s a pleasing escape from the daunting urban day-to-day, especially with a perfect weather forecast on tap.
Plus, it’s simply pleasant to lose oneself in a translucent watery sunrise surrounded by complete peace and tranquility.
I’m spending the weekend at home beside the soothing bubble rock we recently had installed in the backyard. The birds, chipmunks and I all flock there in our own time.
I am content …
Enjoy the weekend …
Dorothy 🙂

I guess the bubble rock makes it your own ‘lake-front’ property…?
Yeah … just like Muskoka 😉
