Fun In The Sun … Niagara Falls, Ontario

Well, what do you know? The meteorologically-minded forecasters got it right. We enjoyed picture-perfect weather here in Southern Ontario this long-weekend.

Sunny skies, summer temperatures without too much humidity and a light breeze (except on Saturday which was a little more stifling … my poor horse worked up a sweat simply standing in his stall ), made for a lot of fun in the sun … and maybe a little too much for some people. There was a great deal of sunburn meandering the aisles of the supermarket yesterday.

All of this reminds me of a sunny, unseasonably hot day in March when we visited Niagara Falls for a couple of hours. As it was such a lovely day I managed to capture a great many inspired moments. I particularly like this image of a lone seagull soaring through misty spray with the thundering waters of the Horseshoe Falls as a backdrop. I dare say our avian friend was engaged in his own version of fun in the sun.

Ever so cool …

Thanks for visiting …

Dorothy 🙂

    • Thanks, Martine. I appreciate your visit and comment. … I hope you manage to go back to Niagara Falls one day. This particular visit was my first in many years. It’s fun to play tourist in your own backyard once in a while. … Be well, Dorothy 🙂
