Summer is coming to a close and birds of many varieties are practicing for their annual flight to warmer climes.

I will be doing a little bit of that myself this winter for the first time … going south, that is. Can’t imagine flapping my arms would get me very far, even with practice.

Thank goodness for the big silver bird.
