So far the autumn weather has been quite lovely. A walk in the woods this weekend with my two collies garnered some photo-worthy opportunities, including this one of ol’ Sass — a rare solitary moment away from the high-energy antics of her demanding daughter, Abbey.

I understand you…I have a Border Collie, Sigh, and she is so energetic!!!! I love her!!!
Yes … Sass is feeling her age now, at 10 years, and her four-year-old daughter is quite hyper on our leash-free walks. She’s determined to keep her mom engaged in the playful life for as long as possible, but I can see Sass doesn’t have the stamina for it she once had. Still, they are a treat to watch. … Thanks for visiting and for leaving a comment … Have fun with your girlie … Be well, Dorothy š
Cute
Yes, I think she’s actually hiding behind that branch, come to think of it. Abbey hasn’t found her … yet. š …

Hi Dorothy,
Pepper said to tell Sass that he has her colouring: nice white vest and tummy, and gorgeous colours around head, ears and whiskers. A very beautiful mum for Abbey! Admiring glances from the McTeddy clan.
Sass has asked me to say a warm thank you to Pepper and the rest of the McTeddy clan! … š … Abbey’s starting to get jealous … š
Lovely photo! Cute adorable dog too! š

What a beautiful picture! I lost one of my collies this year, so this caught me somehow off guard and instantly brought back some sweet memories of walking in the woods with her – thank you!
