Copper Tones and Collies … Southern Ontario


In the past 24 hours the barometric pressure has fallen and with it has dropped the rain. In gusty swirls of accompanying wind many of the leaves have been relieved of their seasonal glory and now await nature’s wintry embrace.

If not for the camera we would have to wait until next autumn to relive this awe-inspiring, colourful tapestry.

Today we add the collies …

Sass … beautiful mother …

Here comes her beautiful daughter, Abbey …

A moment of reflection …

Sass displays her own, rich mahogany copper tones …

… while Abbey’s tones are more golden … she’ll be like her mother, one day …

A moment of tranquility …

A shock of purple …

A blaze of fiery Sumac …
