Good shots, Dorothy! I like the first one very much.
Thank you, Stefano. It’s one of my favourites from our trip to den Bosch. The canal tour is a lovely experience. … Thanks for visiting … Dorothy 🙂

Very nice, Dorothy. I especially like the composition of the curved road. I kept going back to look at that one.
Thanks, Pat. I’m glad you like it … 🙂

These are outstanding Dorothy. At first I didn’t care fo the first one, the blurriness of the buildings/bridge in the background bothered me. But then after coming back to it several times I started to notice things. The more pronounced apparent sharpness of the reflection and the painterly quality to the background and I grew to really like it. Fickle aren’t I 😉
Never in a million years would I have guessed the second was your horse. Maybe if I was able to see the full resolution image would I have picked up on the texture of the hair, but in this web sized photo it’s just an outstanding piece of abstract art.
Thanks, Jeff. I can understand your initial hesitance re the canal shot and am glad you came around. 😉 your assessment is correct, I’d say, in that there is more to it than meets the eye.
With respect to my horse, the horse in general — its lines, curves, symmetry — are so beautiful to me that I like to photograph my boy from different perspectives/angles to see what happens. And when he’s in the arena and the light reflected on his coat is blue, all the better.
I believe in general that there’s more to life than meets the eye.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Be well … Dorothy 🙂
I’m glad I took the time. I went through the slideshow several times and with each I saw something that made that photo go from blah to bravo. Subconsciously I must have seen something, it was that one photo that made me go through the slideshow so many times.
