Today we are bracing for an ice storm in Southern Ontario, so my memory turns to a fine day this past September, and a long walk in Windsor, among the beautiful Horse Chestnut trees.
Deep breath …
Thanks for visiting …

Shout Outs
Dorothy, this just one beautiful walk. Love it!
Thank you. It is rather lovely. … Be well, Dorothy 🙂
Batten down the hatches, Dorothy. Hopefully it’ll soon blow itself out 🙂
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Thanks … We can only hope. Be well and Merry Christmas. Dorothy 🙂
Thanks for the “Shout Out” Dorothy. Good luck with the ice storm. Hopefully our snow on the west coast will be gone by tomorrow. Happy Holidays!
You’re most welcome. 🙂 … Be well and thanks for visiting, Dorothy 🙂

I’m with you. We’re expecting our second ice storm in a month in NW Missouri. Then, snow on top of that. Very nice photograph. I’d like a little more shirt-sleeve weather. I’m definitely a fair weather person—not too hot, not too cold, kind of like Baby Bear.

Thanks.
Thanks, Cris. We haven’t had a December this harsh in years. A real eye-opener. It’s early morning now. Looks like we’re north enough in this weather system to have got some snow, so it doesn’t look like a complete skating rink outside my front door. We’ll know better when dawn breaks. … Having said that, someone was out with a chain saw at 5:15 a.m.. Good luck with your storm. … Be well, Dorothy 🙂
Thank you, Dorothy. We didn’t get near the ice we were expected to get and the worst part of the storm went to the north of us, but we did get some snow, 1-2 inches, I think, but won’t know until daylight. So, all in all, we got pretty lucky.
Such a lovely picture.
Thank you. Glad you like it. … Be well, Dorothy 🙂
