Weekly Photo Challenge: One

One

Today we are bracing for an ice storm in Southern Ontario, so my memory turns to a fine day this past September, and a long walk in Windsor, among the beautiful Horse Chestnut trees.

Deep breath …

Thanks for visiting …

Dorothy 🙂

    • Thanks, Cris. We haven’t had a December this harsh in years. A real eye-opener. It’s early morning now. Looks like we’re north enough in this weather system to have got some snow, so it doesn’t look like a complete skating rink outside my front door. We’ll know better when dawn breaks. … Having said that, someone was out with a chain saw at 5:15 a.m.. Good luck with your storm. … Be well, Dorothy 🙂

      • Thank you, Dorothy. We didn’t get near the ice we were expected to get and the worst part of the storm went to the north of us, but we did get some snow, 1-2 inches, I think, but won’t know until daylight. So, all in all, we got pretty lucky.
