Tuscan Mists

Weekly Photo Challenge: Enveloped

Tuscan Villa

I don’t know that I have ever felt more enveloped in a culture than when I’ve been in Italy.

Perhaps that’s why I always want to go back.

To lose myself in its art, history, food, music, beauty is heavenly.

Last summer we rented a beautiful villa in Tuscany (pictured) with five other couples. We all agree it was one of the most, if not the most, amazing vacation any of us had ever experienced.

One morning the hills surrounding the villa were enveloped in mist giving the entire area an otherworldly appearance.

This moment captured as we forced ourselves to leave for a day at Cinque Terre.

Thanks for visiting …

  1. Beautiful light on this one Dorothy! How did you find the villa? It looks beautiful. We’ve done Tuscany but are thinking of doing it again the same way you did, w several couples in a villa. Thx!
