Rare Rain

Rare rain

This has been the summer of the drought in Southern Ontario. Hot, dry and, on some days, unbearably humid.

Finally, last week, the skies opened and a deluge of wet relief blanketed our region.

The horses, happy with this change of fortune, gladly presented their backs to Mother Nature’s refreshing and nourishing summer storm.

I don’t know that I’ve ever smiled so much to see, and experience, the rain.

Thanks for visiting …

  1. We live in a place that only gets about 8 inches of rain a year, on average, and so I know exactly that deliriously happy feeling when it does finally rain. A nice, wet photo, thank you!
