It’s Thanksgiving weekend in these parts and my loyal collie, Reilly, and I are enjoying short walks in nature. The spectacular colour show is particularly heartwarming this year given the times in which we live.
So we lose ourselves to the wonder of it and give thanks for its beauty. After a virtual plague of caterpillars in the spring that decimated the foliage on many of the trees around here it’s reassuring to see how resilient nature is.
Humanity could learn a thing or two from that.
Happy Thanksgiving … 🍁❤️

I’ve seldom witnessed such a sunrise. I was sitting in my studio, which faces east, writing a blurb when I looked out the window and saw the first shades of dawn. Beautiful, but ignored it. Too cold.

The western edge of a storm clashes with sunset.
More than a thing of beauty. More like light magic.
Thanks for visiting …

A glorious sunrise in Dufferin Co., Ontario.
Whatever you may celebrate this weekend, may it bring you much joy, laughter and hope for the year to come.
Be well,
Dorothy
