My second submission to this challenge, these images were captured on my travels.

The Modernist Barcelona “Eyeball” Building juxtaposed against a more classical structure.
A spray of colourful flowers is juxtaposed against the sobering backdrop of the monument of the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima.
Looking up at Sydney Tower and its juxtaposing neighbours ~ from Pitt Street.

On a trip to Sydney, Australia, several months ago, we stopped by the Hyde Park Barracks Museum to catch a glimpse of history.

These images were taken in the upstairs rooms. The silhouettes of convicts standing (and suffering) by the window were so fantastic with the light behind them I just had to capture them.
